Star Wars in 10 minutes Story Banner

One of my dad's greatest loves, outside of my mom, me, and his dog, is the cinema. I have watched more black and white films than I can count and while they are not my typical go to entertainment, I have a deeper appreciation of the arts than many might. And boy, does he love the classics.

Going to movies had always been a special treat and I have such a distinct memory of him being thrilled to share Star Wars with me, as they were gearing up for the release of Episode 1. The movie in itself a sensory experience, the sounds and dramatics captivating even though I hadn't a clue what was going on or who any of the characters were. Not that it's different when we're watching something from 1931, and it's less the movie and more the time spent that I treasure most.

He's still my go-to TV and movie guy, and while we may watch less films and more series, it's a common enough interest that is so simple, yet so valued.
